Job summary

Poff's Power Solutions in Williston, ND is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic for our shop-based operation. You will diagnose problems, perform quality repairs, and keep equipment operating safely and efficiently in a busy oilfield and fleet environment.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, ability to work independently, and the capability to handle 12-hour day shifts. Welding is a plus but not required, with competitive hourly pay based on experience.

Poff's Power Solutions is a growing fleet maintenance and mechanical services company serving the oilfield, commercial, and fleet markets out of our Williston, North Dakota shop. We're looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic who takes pride in diagnosing problems, performing quality repairs, and keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel trucks, fleet vehicles, and heavy equipment
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, steering, suspension, and brake systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment and sound troubleshooting practices

Who You Are

• Experience as a diesel, heavy equipment, fleet, or oilfield mechanic
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
• Welding experience is a plus but not required

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 12-hour day shifts | Weekend work as needed

Compensation: $28.00-$32.00 per hour, depending on experience
