Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance: oil changes, brakes, tires, inspections.
• Repair and maintain diesel trucks, vehicles, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.
• Perform suspension, alignment, and other necessary repairs.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Work with the team to minimize equipment downtime.

About the Position

Resource Development Company LLC is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Sparks, Nevada.

We are a growing civil construction company looking for a dependable, hands-on mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, works well independently, and takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes, brakes, tires, and inspections.
• Repair and maintain diesel trucks, vehicles, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.
• Perform suspension, alignment, and other necessary repairs.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Work with the team to minimize equipment downtime.

• Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Diesel Technician required.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical repairs, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently.
• Experience with heavy equipment or construction vehicles preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license preferred; CDL is a plus.
