United Rentals is seeking a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech II) to maintain and repair rental equipment safely and professionally in our service department. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure documentation is complete for internal records and customers.

You’ll work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems, demonstrate equipment to customers, assist with pickups/deliveries, and contribute to a team focused on exceptional service and safety.

Competenze

• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.

Mansioni

• Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair of rental equipment and tools involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis.
• Demonstrate a wide array of complex equipment for customers.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
