Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech II) to maintain, repair and service rental equipment safely and professionally. You will document work orders and demonstrate equipment to customers while aiming for high service standards.

The role offers opportunities for growth within the Service Department, with emphasis on teamwork, safety, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair of rental equipment and tools involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis
• Demonstrate a wide array of complex equipment for customers
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
• Other duties assigned as needed
