United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech II) to perform maintenance and repairs on rental equipment in a safety‑mensitive environment.

You’ll document work orders, demonstrate equipment to customers and assist with pickups and deliveries, while upholding superior customer service. Requirements include a high school diploma, valid driver's license, 1–2 years in repair/maintenance, ownership of tools, and basic schematics knowledge; lifting up to 45 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• 1–2 years of experience repairing/maintaining vehicles or equipment, or trade school graduate.
• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; teamwork.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs repeatedly.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair of rental equipment across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Document work orders and maintenance activities accurately and timely.
• Demonstrate equipment features to customers.
• Assist with equipment and parts pick-up/delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.
