Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management is hiring a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A at our Huntington Beach, CA facility. The role focuses on repairs and maintenance for trailer, tractor, and MHE equipment. Shift: Mon-Thu 1:00pm-9:30pm, Fri 10:00am-6:30pm. Pay up to $43/hr depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR per DOT regulations to operate company vehicles.
• Technical School Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance tasks and repairs.
• Maintain interior and exterior property, paint, remodel, install furniture.
• Monitor and maintain detailed activity records and modifications.
• Use hand and power tools to complete tasks.
• Communicate with Maintenance Manager about repairs and incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform routine building maintenance tasks and repairs, and assist with inspections and tours of the facilities
• Maintain interior and exterior property by painting and remodeling, building, installing, and assembling furniture
• Monitor and maintain detailed records of activities, amenities, and modifications
• Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete maintenance and repair tasks
• Communicate daily with the Maintenance Manager and team regarding repairs, faulty operations, defective materials or parts, and incident reports when necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with 3 plus years of related experience
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Technical School Certification
