Qualifications

• Criminal Justice Fingerprint, Background Clearance, and State Department of Education medical examination required.

Responsibilities

• Attends unit meetings and safety trainings to convey and gather information.
• Diagnoses equipment malfunctions to determine needed repairs or replacements.
• Inspects brakes, oil, coolant, tires, and general vehicle conditions to ensure safe operation.
• Maintains repair and maintenance records for regulatory compliance.
• Performs on-site and shop repairs on gasoline and diesel engines and electrical systems.
• Transports tools and supplies to job sites for on-site work.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support operations.
