Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a dependable Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of garbage trucks and other company vehicles. You will diagnose and repair diesel engines, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure daily routes stay on schedule.

Responsibilities include repairing brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems, troubleshooting hydraulic/compactor systems, and maintaining a safe, organized shop environment. Valid driver's license is required; CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy-truck repair.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and air brakes.
• Dependable with ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and mechanical problems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
• Repair brakes, electrical, hydraulic, and air systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair garbage truck hydraulic and compactor systems.
• Complete oil changes, tire repairs, and general maintenance.
• Keep trucks safe, reliable, and ready for daily routes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
