Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to keep our diesel garbage trucks on the road. You’ll be hands-on daily, diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring fleet uptime with the team.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3–5 years of diesel maintenance experience, knowledge of DOT rules, and the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems. We offer a competitive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on diesel garbage trucks and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Inspect vehicles to identify safety concerns and ensure DOT compliance.
• Complete accurate maintenance and repair records for all fleet vehicles.
• Communicate repair status and findings with dispatch and operations teams.
• Work with others in a team environment to ensure fleet uptime and superior service.
• Other maintenance tasks as needed.
