Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to keep our garbage fleet road-ready. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and keep detailed repair records to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in diesel maintenance, a solid understanding of DOT regulations, and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems. This hands-on role supports a fast-growing fleet and offers impactful daily work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of diesel maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on diesel garbage trucks and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Inspect vehicles to identify safety concerns and ensure DOT compliance.
• Complete accurate maintenance and repair records for all fleet vehicles.
• Communicate repair status and findings with dispatch and operations teams.
• Work with others in a team environment to ensure fleet uptime and superior service.
• Other maintenance tasks as needed.

In this role, you'll be hands-on every day, diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and making sure our garbage trucks stay road-ready.
