Job summary

Greenbush Logistics, Inc. in Jesup, GA is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair diesel engines, trucks, and trailers, including Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, and Mack.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols while keeping detailed records of work orders. Two or more years of tractor/trailer/forklift mechanical experience is required, with one year of diesel engine repair and mechanical knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of tractor/trailer/forklift mechanical experience (Required)
• At least one (1) year of diesel engine repair experience preferred
• At least one (1) year of mechanical knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of diesel engines, trucks, and trailers, including company-owned Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, and Mack trucks.
• Analyze problems and interpret technical information necessary to make required repairs (troubleshooting equipment issues).
• Perform mechanical & electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility support equipment.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction and validate work performed.
• Ensure safety by following all company policies, including safety rules, procedures, and Lock-out / Tag-out procedures.
• Complete all assigned work orders within the time allotted. Maintain complete records of work performed using software, work orders, and detailed logs.
