Job summary

Greenbush Logistics, Inc. in Jesup, GA is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to ensure our equipment runs properly.

You will repair and maintain diesel engines, trucks and trailers, including company-owned Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, Mack trucks, as well as Hyundai and Linde lift trucks. Duties include troubleshooting equipment issues, performing mechanical and electrical maintenance, inspecting and testing machinery, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of tractor/trailer/forklift mechanical experience.
• Diesel engine repair experience preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze problems and interpret technical information to make required repairs (troubleshooting equipment issues).
• Perform mechanical & electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility support equipment.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions and validate work performed.
• Ensure safety by following all company policies, including safety rules and Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
• Complete all assigned work orders within the time allotted and maintain records with software, logs, and clear cross‑department communication.
