Job summary

Greenbush Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to repair and maintain diesel engines, trucks, and trailers including Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, Mack, Hyundai, and Linde lift trucks.

You will analyze problems, perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, inspect and test equipment, and follow safety policies such as Lock-out/Tag-out. High school or better; two+ years tractor/trailer/forklift experience; diesel engine repair experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of tractor/trailer/forklift mechanical experience.
• At least one (1) year of diesel engine repair experience preferred.
• At least one (1) year of mechanical knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze problems and interpret technical information necessary to make required repairs (troubleshooting equipment issues).
• Perform mechanical & electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility support equipment.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction and validate work performed.
• Ensure safety by following all company policies, including safety rules, procedures, and Lock-out / Tag-out procedures.
• Complete all assigned work orders within the time allotted. Maintain complete records of work performed using software, work orders, and detailed logs and have good communication skills across all groups/departments.
