United Rentals in Durham, NC is seeking a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III) to maintain and repair a range of complex rental equipment in a safe, professional manner. You will support training of junior technicians and help keep accurate work orders and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years experience repairing/maintaining equipment.
• Own tools for the position.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and tools knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on complex rental equipment with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Travel to customer sites for repair/maintenance as needed.
• Maintain work orders and documentation daily.
• Assist in training lower level technicians.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
