Job summary

Transdev North America is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic based in Bronx, NY to ensure the efficient maintenance of our transportation fleet. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment.

Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years of relevant experience and a valid driver’s license. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $35.00 to $48.00, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair experience.
• Willingness to participate in company ASE certification program.
• Subject to DOT drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings.
• Perform repairs for defects identified during PMs and daily vehicle inspections.
• Diagnose and complete all phases of vehicle and equipment repairs.
