Base pay range

$25.00/hr - $35.00/hr

Immediate opening for an Entry Level Diesel Mechanic position,

$25.00 to $35.00 an hour - BASED ON EXPERIENCE -

Monday – Friday - FT - Flexible start time

$2,000.00 Sign on Bonus

Position Summary:

The Entry-Level Diesel Mechanic will assist in performing maintenance and basic repairs on diesel trucks and trailers under the supervision of experienced technicians. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have completed technical training or are eager to gain hands-on experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior mechanics with inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of diesel engines and related systems.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
• Learn to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Help maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and in compliance with safety protocols.
• Participate in on-the-job training and manufacturer-provided education programs.
• Follow all company, DOT, and OSHA safety standards and procedures.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Recent graduate or current student of a diesel technology or automotive program preferred.
• Basic knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
• Must supply own basic hand tools (or be willing to build a toolkit over time).
  
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift 50+ lbs, work in tight spaces, and perform tasks that require bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
