Job summary

BROTHERS MOTORS SERVICE is seeking a Diesel Mechanic in Sacramento, CA to inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and related systems. You will perform routine maintenance, utilize diagnostic software, and ensure repairs meet safety standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of heavy diesel experience, CDL is preferred, and ASE certification is a plus. The role may involve offsite/mobile repairs and requires strong teamwork and safety compliance.

Qualifications

Technical training in diesel technology preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect diesel engines and related systems to identify issues.
Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, etc.).
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and fuel system problems.
Repair or replace defective components such as brakes, transmissions, steering systems, and exhaust systems.
Use diagnostic software and tools to troubleshoot engine performance issues.
Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper operation.
Maintain service records and follow safety regulations.
