United Rentals in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III) to safely maintain and repair a range of complex rental equipment. You will perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel system work, while documenting activities and supporting customer service excellence.

Qualifications include 3–5 years of hands-on repair experience, a valid driver's license, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Travel to client sites and on-site job duties are common in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely maintain and repair a variety of complex rental equipment.
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Keep work orders and documentation up to date daily.
• Travel to customer sites for repair/maintenance when required.
• Assist with pickup and delivery of equipment and parts.
