United Rentals, Inc. seeks a Diesel Mechanic in Baton Rouge, LA to perform safe maintenance and repairs on a range of complex rental equipment. You’ll ship documentation, train junior techs when needed, and travel to customer sites as required while upholding exceptional service standards.

This role emphasizes strong mechanical aptitude, engine knowledge, and teamwork, with opportunities for advancement within the Service Department and leadership tracks.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
• Must own tools applicable to the position.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and engine knowledge.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Safe maintenance and repair of a variety of complex rental equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) daily.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance when required; keep service vehicle clean.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
