United Rentals in Geismar, LA is hiring a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech I) to maintain and repair rental equipment. You will perform maintenance checks, diagnose issues, and perform minor repairs while ensuring safety and customer service standards.

This role offers opportunities for growth within the Service Department and exposure to a broad range of equipment. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and a strong mechanical aptitude.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance checks on rental equipment before and after use.
• Report machine condition to management.
• Perform minor repairs and check fluids.
• Demonstrate equipment to customers.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
