Transdev in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines across vehicles and equipment. The role ensures safety, efficiency, and longevity of our fleet at the South Yard in Phoenix.

Qualifications include 3-5 years as a Diesel Mechanic, ASE certifications, and strong knowledge of HVAC systems and heavy equipment engines. Ability to read parts books and work flexible shifts is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• ASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, heavy equipment engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Must read parts books and maintenance manuals and complete reports accurately.
• Able to work shifts or flexible schedules.

Responsabilités

• Maintain buses and equipment to safe, like-new condition through quality maintenance and inspections.
• Perform preventative maintenance on business-related vehicles, including heavy and light duty.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Rebuild engines and transmissions as needed.
• Perform road calls and road tests; keep work area clean and organized.
