Qualifications

• General knowledge of truck components and systems.
• Good mechanical aptitude with an interest in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Ability to safely drive vehicles in and out of service area.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with customers and coworkers.
• Flexibility to work in various environments and receive hands-on training.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with email, MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Receive training to repair and maintain fleet vehicles in a safe manner.
• Perform detailed inspections, lubrication, and servicing as part of preventative maintenance.
• Check and change fluids and filters as needed.
• Inspect vehicle support systems such as electrical, air, and brake systems.
• Identify and perform repairs and adjustments to vehicle components.
