Job summary

GFL - Sewer Technologies Division in Warner Robins, GA is seeking a Level A or B Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain our heavy-duty trucks and rolling stock. You will be responsible for safe, reliable operation of company-owned equipment.

You will use advanced diagnostic tools, manage parts and work orders, and help keep our fleet in top condition. Strong physical stamina and tool ownership are required, along with a high school diploma or technical training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year hands-on diesel mechanic experience (Level B).
• Must have advanced diagnostic capabilities (Level A).
• Ability to work in a loud, physically demanding shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty diesel, CNG, gas, and electrically operated trucks and equipment.
• Plan and schedule repairs using the M5 planner system and manage parts inventory.
• Coordinate shop repair schedules and maintain high operational readiness.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with regulations.
• Assist in training and onboarding newer shop team members.
