Mrbultsjobs in Chicago, IL is actively seeking an experienced heavy-truck mechanic to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on semi-tractor and trailer units. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, brake, HVAC and air systems, disassemble and repair components, and fabricate minor parts as needed.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license; CDL is preferred. Tools provided; competitive benefits and a steady day shift await the right candidate.

Formación

• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic and mechanical problems on heavy trucks and trailers.
• Use diagnostic software and diagnostic computers to troubleshoot systems.
• Repair, replace and adjust components on heavy vehicles.
• Disassemble and reassemble heavy-truck parts; fabricate minor aluminum/steel parts.

Responsabilidades

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on semi-tractor and trailer units.
• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, HVAC and air systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and shop equipment to identify issues and verify repairs.
• Follow supervisor instructions and maintain clean, safe work area.
