White Tank & Truck Repair in Belleville, IL is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This full-time role focuses on advanced diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and major component repair for late-model Freightliner and Kenworth (Paccar) trucks.

You will have access to industry-leading diagnostic software (Paccar Davie, Freightliner Diagnostic Link, JPro) and work in a clean, organized shop with a team-focused environment. CDL is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience working on Freightliner and/or Kenworth trucks preferred.
• Strong electrical and diagnostic skills.
• Experience using OEM diagnostic software preferred.
• Dependable with strong work ethic.

Position Overview

White Tank & Truck Repair is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Belleville, IL.

We specialize in late-model Freightliner and Kenworth (Paccar) Class 8 trucks and have the capability to perform nearly any repair on semi tractors. This position focuses heavily on advanced diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and major component repair.

Full access to industry-leading diagnostic software, including Paccar Davie, Freightliner Diagnostic Link, and JPro, is available to support accurate and efficient troubleshooting.

This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys solving complex mechanical and electrical issues in a clean, organized, team-focused shop.

Compensation

• Entry-Level Mechanic: $20.61/hour
• Eligible for 5% increase every 6 months
• Veteran Mechanic: Up to $34.35/hour
• Additional $3.00–$3.50/hour premium pay for advanced skill sets
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half
• Annual wage increases
