Position Overview

The diesel mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing construction equipment, trucks, and vehicles both on-site and off-site. Responsibilities include organizing tools and equipment, following safety procedures, and assisting team members to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain, repair, and operate construction and power equipment.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot engine failures.
3. Manage shop functions like maintenance scheduling and inventory control.
4. Ensure cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
5. Perform safety inspections and adhere to safety standards.
6. Travel to job sites for emergency repairs as needed.
7. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
