Job summary

Transervice Logistics is seeking a Diesel Mechanic/Technician in Perrysburg, OH, for a Monday–Friday schedule with 2nd shift (6 PM–2 AM). Expect up to $40/hour based on experience and ASE certifications, with weekends off and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Certification from a diesel mechanic trade school or a minimum of 3 years of related experience as a diesel mechanic.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair all assigned equipment.
• Determine vehicle condition by inspections and diagnostic tests.
• Perform system repairs including engines, transmissions, air and hydraulic systems, tires, drive-train, steering and suspension, electrical and A/C.
• Perform all preventive maintenance inspections and state/federal safety inspections per DOT requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, and MHE.
