Transervice Logistics is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic/Technician for a Monday–Friday, 2nd shift (6 PM–2 AM) position in Ohio. Earn up to $40/hour depending on experience and ASE certifications. Weekend off, promote from within, and benefits include free health care paid by Transervice.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, engine/transmission repairs, PM inspections, DOT-compliant safety checks, and maintenance for tractors, trailers, and MHE. ASE certifications enhance growth potential.

Formación

• Certification from a diesel mechanic trade school or a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic math skills.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office and TMT.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain proficiency in diagnosis and repair of all assigned equipment.
• Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests.
• Perform system repairs including engines, transmission, air and hydraulic systems, tires, drive-train, steering and suspension, electrical and A/C.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and DOT-mandated safety inspections.
• Complete repairs in accordance with DOT requirements.
• Duties on tractors, trailers, and MHE.

Essential Functions Diesel Mechanic:

• You will maintain proficiency in the diagnosis and repair of all assigned equipment.
• Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
• Perform system repairs to include engines, transmission, air and hydraulic systems, tires, drive-train, steering and suspension, electrical and A/C.
• Perform all preventive maintenance inspections, state and federal mandated safety inspections and complete repairs in accordance with DOT requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, and MHE
• Monday thru Friday!
• 2nd Shift, 6PM to 2AM
• WEEKENDS OFF!!
• Up to $40/hourdepending on experience and ASE Certifications
