Job Overview

As a Diesel Mechanic - 2nd Shift (Service Tech III), you'll perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment safely and professionally. This role offers opportunities for growth into higher Service Technician and leadership positions, with an emphasis on exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform safe maintenance and repair of rental equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
  2. Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed.
  3. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including work orders.
  4. Travel to customer sites for repair/maintenance when required, maintaining a clean and professional service vehicle.
  5. Assist with equipment and parts pick-up/delivery.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  3. 3-5 years of experience in repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
  4. Advanced mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools.
  5. Strong background in engines.
  6. Own tools applicable to the position.
  7. Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
  8. Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs frequently.
