Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs including routine maintenance, engine, chassis, body components, hydraulic cylinders, brake systems, suspension, cooling systems, wheels, and tires.
• Inspect equipment and trucks for condition, operations, parts, fluid levels, differentials, final drives, pump drives, and hubs.
• Knowledge of hydraulics repair is required.
• Use vehicle computer systems to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Complete paperwork using fleet maintenance software for repairs, parts, and repair times.
• Review and complete repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Perform maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Follow safety protocols while working on vehicles.
• Communicate effectively about repairs and tasks.
• Engage in strenuous physical activity, including heavy lifting over 50 pounds.
• Work environment varies between indoor shop and outdoor road repairs, requiring safety precautions.

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Own personal tools; welding/fabrication skills are a plus.
• ASE Certifications preferred but not required.
