Qualifikationen

• Some mechanical knowledge or education is required.
• Basic knowledge of gasoline and/or diesel engines is preferred.
• Ability to read repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics to troubleshoot or repair.
• Physically able to perform demanding tasks in a shop environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and pass pre-employment drug screen & background check.

Aufgaben

• Perform repair and maintenance on fleet vehicles safely and per regulations.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems.
• Use vehicle computer electronics to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs.
• Complete work within standard repair times and report deviations to supervisor.
• Handle day-to-day tasks with limited supervision.
