Job summary

Kimble Company is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented maintenance professional to keep diesel fleet vehicles and equipment operating safely and efficiently. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, and complete timely repairs to support daily operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and prior experience in vehicle maintenance or mechanical repair, with knowledge of diesel/gasoline engines, brakes, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in vehicle maintenance or mechanical repair preferred.
• Working knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair diesel fleet vehicles and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake inspections, fluid checks, and tire services.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using appropriate tools and testing methods.
• Complete repairs safely and efficiently while upholding quality standards.
• Document work performed, parts used, and service recommendations.
• Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize repairs to minimize downtime.
• Order or recommend parts and supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow company policies, maintenance procedures, and applicable regulations.
