Job summary

Kimble Company is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented maintenance professional to keep our diesel fleet vehicles and equipment operating safely and efficiently. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, and complete timely repairs to support daily operations.

The ideal candidate has experience with diesel and gasoline engines, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems, and will document work and prioritize repairs while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in vehicle maintenance or mechanical repair preferred.
  • Working knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair diesel fleet vehicles and related equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, fluid checks, tire services, and tune-ups.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using appropriate tools and testing methods.
  • Complete repairs safely and efficiently while upholding quality standards.
  • Document work performed, parts used, and service recommendations accurately.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Order or recommend parts and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow company policies, maintenance procedures, and applicable regulations.
