Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30046

Duration: 12+ Months

Pay rate: $28.00/hr.

Our client is searching for a Bus mechanic for a local school system. They should have experience with bus or large truck repair and maintenance. Mechanics must provide personal tools and tool boxes adequate to perform the tasks assigned to them. Mechanics with ASE certification are preferred.

Responsibilities and requirements will include:

• Body systems and special equipment
• Diesel engines
• Drive train (including automatic transmission)
• Brakes (air and hydraulic)
• Suspension and steering
• Electrical and electronic systems
• Air conditioning systems and controls
• School bus maintenance
• Knowledge of Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) standards
• Possession of Commercial Driver License (CDL)
• Personal tools and toolbox

Requirements:

• 5 or more years of experience with bus or large truck mechanic work
• Diesel maintenance experience
• ASE certification is preferred
