Join A. Duie Pyle in Johnston, RI as a Diesel Mechanic. Earn $30-$45 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours and a 7:00 AM start, Monday through Friday. Enjoy company-paid benefits, modern shops, and full medical, dental, and life coverage, plus retirement plans and paid time off.

Your role includes preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing Class 8 trucks, and growing your heavy-duty repair skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical Training in diesel/heavy-duty vehicle experience; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities
• Ability to work independently with a "can-do" attitude

Responsibilities

• Performing routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks
• Troubleshooting and repairing brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
• Diagnosing and repairing the engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems
• Inspecting and replacing general components as required

Diesel Mechanic qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks
• A complete set of hand tools for heavy truck repair
• Vocational or Technical Training in diesel/heavy-duty vehicle experience; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities
• Ability to work independently with a "can-do" attitude
