A. Duie Pyle in Syracuse, NY is seeking a skilled 2nd shift Diesel Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair our fleet of Class 8 trucks. This role emphasizes hands-on diagnostics and timely repairs in a busy shop environment.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of Class 8 truck experience, a tool set for heavy-duty repair, and relevant diesel/heavy-duty training. Expect a 3:00 PM start, Monday–Friday, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• Complete set of hand tools for heavy truck repair.
• Vocational/Technical training in diesel/heavy-duty; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension, etc.
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems.
• Inspect and replace general components as required.

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, skilled 2nd shift Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Syracuse, NY shop. This role requires technical skill with heavy duty trucks and is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing the company's fleet.

Diesel Mechanic qualifications:
