Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a 2nd shift Diesel Mechanic to join the Fleet Maintenance team at our Greencastle, PA shop.

Maintain, diagnose, and repair the company’s Class 8 fleet with a strong emphasis on preventative maintenance and repairs. We offer a competitive hourly wage ($30-$45) with a $2.00 shift differential, weekly pay, and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match, and vacation/PTO.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks
• Complete set of hand tools for heavy truck repair
• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
• Willingness to learn and grow abilities
• Ability to work independently with a “can-do” attitude

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems
• Inspect and replace general components as required

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, skilled 2nd shift Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Greencastle, PA shop. This role requires technical skill with heavy duty trucks and is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing the company’s fleet.

Diesel Mechanic qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks
• A complete set of hand tools for heavy truck repair
• Vocational or Technical Training in diesel/heavy-duty vehicle experience; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities
• Ability to work independently with a “can-do” attitude

Diesel Mechanic responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
