Diesel / Fleet Mechanic Needed Yesterday!

Diesel / Fleet Mechanic Qualifications:

1. Perform manual tasks such as assisting mechanics in carrying machine parts, tools, and materials to and from the job site, and lifting and holding parts.
2. Repair hydraulic systems, vacuum module systems, and Class 7 and Class 8 trucks.
3. Maintain cleanliness of the shop area, including sweeping and tidying workspaces.
4. Perform preventative maintenance on vacuum trucks, tractors, and trailers.
5. Clean and wash equipment and machinery; scrape paint, grease, and accumulated materials from equipment and trucks.
6. Manage equipment check-in and check-out for rental purposes.
7. Perform repairs on electrical components.
8. Reliability and punctuality are essential.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned.
10. High School diploma or equivalent required.
11. Must have a valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
12. Must have a reliable vehicle.
13. Possess manual dexterity skills.
14. At least 1 year of experience with Class 7/8 trucks, vacuum module repair, or automotive/diesel technology.
15. Ability to lift 50 pounds or more occasionally.
16. Knowledge of engine mechanics, hydraulic repair, and electrical systems required.
17. Welding experience is preferred but not mandatory.
18. Ability to stand, stoop, crouch, bend, and climb short ladders repeatedly throughout the day.
19. Basic experience with machinery and hand tools.
20. Must own your own hand tools; a $150 yearly tool bonus is granted annually.
