Diesel / Fleet Mechanic Needed Yesterday!

Diesel / Fleet Mechanic Qualifications:
- Perform manual tasks such as assisting mechanics in carrying machine parts, tools, and materials to and from the job site, and lifting and holding parts.
- Repair hydraulic systems, vacuum module systems, and Class 7 and Class 8 trucks.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop area, including sweeping and tidying workspaces.
- Perform preventative maintenance on vacuum trucks, tractors, and trailers.
- Clean and wash equipment and machinery; scrape paint, grease, and accumulated materials from equipment and trucks.
- Manage equipment check-in and check-out for rental purposes.
- Perform repairs on electrical components.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
- Must have a reliable vehicle.
- Possess manual dexterity skills.
- At least 1 year of experience with Class 7/8 trucks, vacuum module repair, or automotive/diesel technology.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more occasionally.
- Knowledge of engine mechanics, hydraulic repair, and electrical systems required.
- Welding experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand, stoop, crouch, bend, and climb short ladders repeatedly throughout the day.
- Basic experience with machinery and hand tools.
- Must own your own hand tools; a $150 yearly tool bonus is granted annually.
