Superior Diesel, Inc., a family owned and community centered business, is hiring a skilled Diesel Mechanic for both our Waterman and DeKalb locations. This full‑time role offers steady hours in a clean, organized shop with occasional field service work.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform preventative maintenance on heavy duty diesel trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using modern diagnostic tools.
• Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Operate lifts, pneumatic tools, welders, and shop equipment.
• Communicate findings and document repairs clearly.

What You Need:

• 3+ years mechanical experience OR completed related formal mechanical training.
• Experience as a truck or diesel technician.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
• ASE certifications a plus.
• Must have own hand tools.
