• Welding experience is required.
• Ability to earn or possess DOT Inspector certification and a Class A CDL.
• Experience repairing heavy trucks, trailers, or commercial equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of trucks, trailers, and commercial equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a DieselMechanic for a well-established company on the Iron Range. What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of trucks, trailers, and commercial equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Complete inspections and ensure equipment meets DOT and safety standards
• Weld and fabricate components as needed
• Maintain accurate repair records using a computer or laptop

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience repairing heavy trucks, trailers, or commercial equipment
• Welding experience required
• Ability to earn or possess DOT Inspector certification and a Class A CDL
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in a fast-paced shop environment
• Must be at least 21 years of age
