Wieser Concrete Products, Inc. is a manufacturer of precast products for agriculture, commercial, highway, and underground applications. Wieser Trucking Inc supports Wieser Concrete by hauling and placing many of the manufactured items like tanks, retaining walls, and other custom products across the USA.

Founded in 1965 by Joseph H. Wieser, Wieser Concrete Products, Inc. began operations near Maiden Rock, WI. Since then, the company has grown from a single employee to over 200 team members. This family-owned business has expanded through the production of high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Wieser Concrete Products, Inc. is recognized in North America as a supplier of precast concrete products throughout the United States, parts of Canada, and Mexico.

Position Overview

The diesel mechanic will maintain and repair Wieser Trucking Inc.'s industrial equipment and vehicles through comprehensive preventive maintenance and proper repair work. The mechanic works in a private family shop environment equipped with quality tools and parts.

Qualifications:
  • Hardworking, dependable, and honest
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
  • 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience
  • Vocational/technical degree is a plus but not required
  • Valid driver's license with CDL is a plus but not required
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Proficiency in diagnostic or troubleshooting software
Responsibilities:
  1. Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identify worn and damaged parts
  2. Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules, installing upgrades, controlling corrosion, and winterizing
  3. Repair vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, and replacing assemblies and parts
  4. Assess and repair issues with hydraulics and electronics; experience with cranes and boom trucks is a plus
  5. Ensure vehicles and equipment comply with federal and state regulations, including DOT safety standards
  6. Support the maintenance manager with industrial maintenance tasks
