Swift Transportation Company in Sumner, WA is seeking a Diesel Mechanic for an immediate opening. The role involves maintaining and repairing tractors, trailers, and related equipment to keep the fleet moving.

• Comprehensive background check is required.
• Pre-employment hair follicle drug screening is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a quality preventative maintenance inspection and repairs on all company owned equipment, to include tractors, trailers, refrigerated units and support equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to appropriate specifications (OEM, DOT, Swift, etc.)
• Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform minor and/or complex repairs for all equipment.
• Disassemble, repair and re-assemble of Heavy Truck & Trailer components.
• Perform tire maintenance to include: repairs, failure analysis, coding, identification.

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30pm

Job Responsibilities: What you will do as a Diesel Mechanic
