Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Extensive knowledge of diesel engine components and systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic testing equipment to identify problems.
• Ability to read manuals and drawings.
• Proven record of high-quality repairs and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and independent work ability.
• Strong communication skills; explain issues clearly.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate heavy machinery.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects.
• Diploma or certificate in diesel repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpret results.
• Carry out routine maintenance including part replacement and servicing.
• Repair and replace faulty parts (pistons, bearings, gears, valves, bushings).
• Overhaul and test major components such as engines and transmissions.
• Inspect and maintain heavy equipment including bulldozers, cranes, graders, excavators.
• Keep detailed maintenance records (time and parts).
• Adhere to safety protocols for a safe work environment.
• Stay up-to-date with diesel engine technology and apply it.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent full-time position where you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines for our extensive range of heavy equipment and motors. You will be an integral part of our manufacturing operations, ensuring that our machinery is running at optimum performance levels. This role requires a hands‑on approach, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

• 1. Performing diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to identify mechanical problems.
• 2. Carrying out routine maintenance work, including replacing parts, servicing, and checking the performance of heavy equipment and motors.
