Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and drivetrain components.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service on tractors, construction equipment, and related machinery.
  • Conduct inspections and identify equipment issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Utilize diagnostic software, service manuals, and testing equipment to determine root causes of equipment failures.
  • Complete warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards.
  • Document repair findings, labor hours, parts usage, and service recommendations.
  • Perform safety inspections and ensure all work meets company and manufacturer quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors, Parts Department personnel, and customers regarding repair status and recommendations.
  • Participate in ongoing technical training to stay current with equipment technology and manufacturer updates.

Position Summary

Seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Technician to join our service team in Ontario, California. The Diesel Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining diesel-powered equipment, tractors, construction equipment, utility vehicles, and related machinery. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our customers' equipment operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
