We’re hiring a Diesel Mechanic for our Southeast Houston area client! We are looking for an experienced, reliable, hard-working employee to join our client’s team.

Description of Your Dream Job:

1. Job Title: Diesel Mechanic
2. Location: Southeast Houston area
3. Pay: $25 to $35 per hour
4. Hours: 7am to 5pm
5. Duration: Temp-to-hire
6. Description of Duties: Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications. Repair and replace damaged or worn parts. Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects. Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs. Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools. Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles. Schedule maintenance for industrial machines and keep service records. Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
7. Requirements: Ability to lift and stack objects up to 50 lbs. and exert 100 lbs. of force to lift, carry, push, and pull objects. Knowledge of Diesel Engine and Hydraulic System diagnostics and preventive maintenance. At least 1 year of experience in a related field.
