Salary: $25.50 - $32.00 per hour

We are looking for a reliable Chassis Mechanic with Diesel and welding experience to install, maintain, and repair company vehicles. As a Mechanic, you should be experienced in diesel engines, troubleshooting, and vehicle repairs. The role requires the ability to work independently, handling tasks such as compression tests, fuel system repairs, electrical repairs, recreational vehicle maintenance, and more. The goal is to ensure the quality and safety of all services provided. You will be responsible for repairs on all makes and models of diesel machinery, with an emphasis on completing repairs efficiently and cost-effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Disassemble and reassemble heavy equipment and components.
• Adjust, repair, or replace defective components or assemblies.
• Reconnect and test hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Adjust tire pressure to recommended levels.
• Maintain and perform DOT and FMCSA inspections.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Welding experience
• Familiarity with DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Diesel engine repair experience: at least 1 year
• Mechanical knowledge: at least 1 year
• Able to work flexible hours
• Familiar with 90 Day BIT Inspections and Annual FMCSA Inspections
• Experience with tire replacement and patching
