Skilled Fleet Diesel Mechanic Needed in Omaha, NE!

Shift: Days/1st shift: 6am-4pm (Monday-Friday)

Pay: $20-$25 Depending on Experience

Responsibilities

1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related equipment
2. Diagnose mechanical issues using various tools and techniques

4. Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with industry regulations
5. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
6. Collaborate with other mechanics to accomplish team goals
7. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior mechanics when necessary

Minimum Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent; certification in diesel mechanics preferred
2. Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or in a similar role
3. In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electronic systems
4. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
6. Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and tools for diesel engines
7. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
