About the Role

As a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) within the Fluid Solutions Division at United Rentals, you'll perform maintenance and minor repairs on equipment safely and professionally. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of dryers and pumps. This role offers daily opportunities to improve your skills and advance to higher-level technician roles, with an emphasis on providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform service documentation
• Train lower-level technicians
• Demonstrate equipment to customers
• Travel to customer sites
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining dryers and pumps of various sizes and manufacturers
• Knowledge of construction equipment
• Strong mechanical skills, especially with engines
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams
• Own the necessary tools for the position
• Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs frequently
