Job summary

JP Mascaro & Sons in Nanticoke, PA is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks and construction equipment per manufacturer specifications. The role requires safe operation of garage tools, diagnostic equipment, lifts, and jacking equipment.

You will identify replacement parts, read technical manuals, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. A valid license and own tools are desirable; PA inspections and ASEs are a plus.

Qualifications

• Diesel engine technical degree or related training or experience.
• Basic computer skills to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic, repair and maintenance on trucks and construction equipment per manufacturer specifications.
• Operate garage tools, diagnostic equipment, lifts, hoists safely.
• Identify and obtain replacement parts as needed to complete repairs.
• Adhere to manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair major assemblies and subsystems including power, drivetrains, electrical, and hydraulics.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
