Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel trucks, fleet vehicles, and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment and sound troubleshooting practices.
• Complete inspections and identify additional maintenance needs.
• Support field service calls when needed.

Poff's Power Solutions | Full-Time | Shop-Based | 12-Hour Day Shifts

Poff's Power Solutions operates out of Midland, Texas—the heart of the Permian Basin—providing fleet maintenance, mobile repair, and mechanical services to oilfield operators, commercial fleets, and local equipment owners. We're looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic who takes pride in diagnosing problems, performing quality repairs, and keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel trucks, fleet vehicles, and heavy equipment
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, steering, suspension, and brake systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment and sound troubleshooting practices
• Complete inspections and identify additional maintenance needs
• Support field service calls when needed

Who You Are

• Experience as a diesel, heavy equipment, fleet, or oilfield mechanic
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
• Welding experience is a plus but not required
